Cu Ri Lee joined the firm as an associate in 2021 and practices in the area of civil litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lee was an advisor at the University of Hawai’i Office of Institutional Equity, which oversaw the University’s Title IX initiatives and compliance efforts. She also worked for several years in local government and in the non-profit arena.

Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Waipahu, Hawai’i, Ms. Lee graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. in Sociology.

Ms. Lee graduated from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Ms. Lee earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grade in Legal Wring (Lawyering Fundamentals II), Legal Research, Legislation & Statutory Interpretation, and Organizing for Social Change. Throughout law school, she organized around various political issues impacting marginalized women and femme-identified people in Hawai’i and served as a Commissioner on the UH Commission on the Status of Women. Ms. Lee currently serves on the board of directors of Planned Parenthood – Great Northwest, Hawaiʻi, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky.

Ms. Lee is admitted to practice law in the State of Hawai’i and the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawai’i. She is a member of the Hawai’i State Bar Association.
